I bought this for my daughter's first birthday and the self-tie straps actually stay knotted, which I wasn't expecting. The wide rib organic cotton feels substantial without being scratchy on her forehead. Bear ears are perfectly floppy too.
The mauve dot color is even prettier in person, and the wide rib fabric feels substantial but not heavy. I was worried the bear ears might look childish, but the classic styling keeps it cute without being costume-y. Fits true to size and the organic cotton is soft right out of the package.
The self-tie straps are what sold me, and they actually hold the shape perfectly while the bear ears stay perky all day. The mauve dot pattern is even prettier in person, and the organic cotton blend breathes so nicely that I forgot I was wearing it during a long afternoon out.
