The organic cotton gauze is so breathable that my little one actually keeps this hat on during stroller walks instead of yanking it off. I sized up to the large and it stays put without ties, which surprised me. Finally a sun hat that doesn't turn into a sweaty mess.
The medium fits my 14-month-old perfectly—the gauze is soft and breathable without being flimsy.
The organic cotton gauze is breathable enough that my 15-month-old actually keeps it on during park afternoons. I ordered the L size and it fits his head well, though I do wish it came with ties at that size. Still, it's held up through several washes without losing shape.
