I grabbed the M size for my 6-month-old and the fit is spot on, not too tight around her head at all. The bamboo fabric is really soft and the covered elastic on the back means no scratchy bits digging in. The big bow holds its shape nicely even after she's yanked on it a dozen times.

Ordered the XL for my 2-year-old and the sizing chart was spot on for once. The bow is bigger than I pictured but in a good way, and the elastic back actually stays put through a whole toddler meltdown.
