The bear ears are the whole reason I got this and they hold their shape instead of flopping over. The self-tie straps actually stay put on my toddler, which is more than I can say for the last two hats we tried. Wore it all afternoon at the park and it didn't slide once.
Wore this on a chilly morning walk and the bamboo viscose felt almost cool and silky against my forehead instead of scratchy like my old cotton one. The little bear ears are subtle enough that I don't feel silly wearing it into town.
The self-tie straps actually stay knotted, which I didn't expect from something this soft. Wore it all afternoon and forgot I had it on.
