The fabric is genuinely silky and the side seam pockets are a nice touch, but the gathered waist sits a bit oddly on my frame. I wanted to love the lap neck, yet it feels a little loose around the neckline for everyday wear. It’s a decent dress, just not the standout I hoped for.
